Mustard Seed Project - 507 West North Avenue

Initial Project

Mustard Seed Project - 507 West North Avenue

Our first project was a collaboration with an Old Town organization, Mustard Seed and a local artist Brett Whitacre. The highly visible mural is a marked improvement from a large wall that was frequently tagged with graffiti.

The final mural includes a ribbon of colors that depict inclusiveness. The path the ribbon takes depicts the journey in life.  There are ups and downs but one emerges stronger after undergoing the struggle.  The white circle with the triangle is the symbol for Alcoholics Anonymous and shows that on the journey, help may be needed to overcome.
